    Akshaya Tritiya: The Sattu Day
    What is Akshaya Tritiya?
Akshaya Tritiya falls in the Tritiya Tithi of Sukla Paksha of Baishakha month, Baisakha translates to a churning stick, and every festival that falls in this month advocates for purity and spiritual awakening. Akshaya means something that is beyond the process of eroding, which cannot be destroyed; the results of the activities performed in this day do not diminish, and good works commenced on this day will summon manifold divine results.

What is the importance of Akshaya Tritiya?
It's an auspicious day for the Hindu and Jain communities. Utmost wishes that everyone may cultivate spiritual strength on this auspicious day, this day is also commemorated by the reading of scriptures, special pujas, the family deity worship (Ishta Deb), charities, offering homage to one's ancestors, associated with devotees, feeding Brahmins and poor by organizing Bhandara (Community fiesta) and watering and planting trees. All these activities result in the endurance of material opulence and spiritual awakening.

Akshaya Tritiya is a Sattu day.
Normally Akshaya Tritiya also marks the birthday of Lord Parshuram as Chiranjeevi Tritiya. Akshaya Tritiya has a peculiar tradition in Nepal, this is called a Sattu day too. Well, let me explain this ancient beverage today, this is a nutritious mix of ground pulses and cereals. Literally, anything roasted and ground into a fine powder is called Sattu, this typical Sattu is made of barley, chickpea, and other grains and mixed with sugar and water. This is an easy to carry, easy to digest and sturdy food, from the context of Krishna and Sudama to the ancient times and various stages of human civilization, it has been customary to take Sattu on a journey.
    Importance of this Tithi

The Satya Yuga was formally started from today's Tithi, while the Dwapar Yuga ended immediately after the end of the Mahabharata Yuga and the Treta Yuga also began in this Tithi. This is such an auspicious day that Lord Mahadeva and Mother Parwati also got married on this holy day, Writer Veda Vyas also started to write "Mahabharata" from this day, if you also have any plans to start with, manifest an eternal commitment and give a power punch starting to it.

Inexhaustible love of Patro Patro to its users in Akshay Tritiya.

    Parshuram Jayanti

Parshuram Jayanti is observed on the third day of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the Vaishakha month. The main purpose of this festival is to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram. In Hindu mythology and scriptures, Parshuram is described as a legendary figure whose life has been portrayed imaginatively. He is considered as the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. On this day, Lord Parshuram's life and teachings are remembered and celebrated by devotees. It is believed that observing this festival with devotion and sincerity can bring peace, prosperity, and blessings to one's life.

    Who is Lord Parshuram?
Hindu mythology defines Lord Parshuram as the sixth avatar of Vishnu upon this planet. Parshuram Jayanti is commemorated to honor the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram. Lord Parshuram was born in the Tritiya tithi of Baisakh Shukla paksha, he was the son of Raja Prasenjit's daughter Renuka and Bhrigu's dynasty's Jamadagni. Parshuram is known for his indisputable devotion towards lord Shiva, Parashurama is also recognized for his immense knowledge and artillery making skills.

According to legends, he fought big wars 21 times in favor of the truth to establish righteousness. Even before Lord Rama arrived on the planet, immortal Parshuram arrived on this planet as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Because immortal parshuram was born in this tithi, this Tritiya tithi is also called "Chiranjivi Tithi", Chiranjivi translates immortal. A true follower of patriarchy, Parshuram is the only ancient character who is beyond the circle of life and death according to Srimad Bhagwat Geeta. Parshuram is the engineer of ancient times, the architect of the artistic and physical infrastructure.

All the ancient villages and towns of the Indian subcontinent are built according to his plan and art.

The present-day remains of the ancient city of Dwarika were found in the middle of the sea during excavations, and its relevant and scientific structure also explains Parashuram's contribution to scientific development since ancient times. By the grace of this immortal Parashuram, may truth, and art skills be firmly developed in the lives of all of us. Best wishes to all.

    Mahila Jyotish Sangh Sthaapana Diwas

    Background:
Sudha Bhattarai Banskota of Kirtipur Salyanstahn is involved in the astrology profession. In her opinion, after taking this profession, she was able to observe society more closely, and her self-satisfaction increased by researching things in the world of life.

Sudha will serve in this profession for the rest of his life, as she has both a profession according to his interests and a satisfactory income. There are many women astrologers like Sudha all over Nepal, and the number and participation of women astrologers are increasing day by day.

Although times are changing, people's interest in and faith in traditional science have never decreased. For auspicious events such as marriage, fasting, house entry, laying the foundation of a new house, or seeking astrology consultation for planetary transits, Nepalis are also very interested in newspaper horoscopes and radio-television astrology programs.

Apart from this, professional astrologers are being established as a whole, who can eliminate people's curiosity by studying astrology. Some astrologers may not have time to meet for the next six months. And along with these things, many women make astrology their profession. The participation and leadership of women in the profession of astrology have been very low since ancient times. But in recent times, the leadership of women in astrology has increased.

The female astrologers of Nepal have established the National Women's Astrology Association to advocate for their rights and organizational development. Every year on Baisakh 28, the foundation day of this association,

The 12th general meeting of the National Women's Astrology Association was held in Kathmandu on Paush 9th, 2079 B.S. On that occasion, veteran astrologers and experts in astrology came from the country and abroad. At present, Ms. Rati Devi Joshi Shrestha is the president of the National Women's Astrology Association.

    Where can we study astrology?
Currently, there are 19 Bidhyapeeths under Nepal Sanskrit University, 14 branches, and 5 affiliated. Along with Sanskrit, English, mathematics, and 17 other subjects are taught in these Bidhyapeeths. In recent times, the number of women studying Falit astrology has increased, and many of them have expressed their happiness about making it a business. Those who studied at Valmiki are working in universities in 16 countries around the world, including Germany and America.

Licensing arrangements for astrologers and pundits in Nepal
The Nepal Panchang Development Committee has said that it will soon arrange licenses for astrologers and pundits. The Nepal Panchang Development Committee under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation is going to provide training because, because of those who take to astrology and rituals without sufficient knowledge, distortions have been created in this field. It is hoped that this decision of the Nepali government will bring more governance in the operation and expansion of astrology as a whole.

Best wishes to women astrologers in Nepal for the establishment of a professional association.
    Best wishes

    -Suyog Dhakal
