    World Freedom Day

    Background
World Freedom Day is celebrated in the United States on November 9 of each year. Former United States President George W. Bush has declared November 9 as World Freedom Day, marking the breaking of the wall dividing East and West Berlin in Germany and the formal end of communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2001, George W. Bush declared World Freedom Day.
Today, in the United States, one of the strongest proponents of capitalism in the world, young students and Republicans celebrate Freedom Day by organizing various events.

Former United States President Ronald Reagan, who played a key role in ending the Cold War and bringing down the Soviet Union, will also be highly acknowledged in the United States today.

Although the United States emphasizes this day as World Independence Day, other nations around the world, especially European nations, seem reluctant to celebrate this day as World Freedom Day. Since the Cold War, there have been ideological, functional,, and systemic disputes between the capitalist, communist, and some socialist countries in the world.

However, according to the idea of New Globalization and New Nationalism, the inhabitants of the whole world are placed in a wide range within the philosophy of one identity and world brotherhood. Whether we belong to the communist ideology or the bourgeois ideology or any other ideology, the guarantee of freedom and the importance of living an independent life is very important in human society.

    Freedom Movements in Nepal
In Nepal too, new dimensions of independence have been added in 2007, 2046, and 2063 BS respectively. Ease of living comfortably within the perimeter of freedom has been achieved and reframed from time to time. Excessive traffic jams, gas and oil lines, price hikes, corruption, and lack of rule of law are some of the problems of freedom of Nepali society that we have all faced in one way or another every day. It is hoped that the definition of Nepali independence will soon lead to a comfortable and transparent life for Nepali.

    Wishing you freedom Day.
