    Tilkunda Chauthi

Everyone is welcome on the auspicious occasion of this Til Kunda Chauthi dedicated to Lord Ganesha. This Chauthi of Magh Shukla Paksha is also celebrated as Ganesh Jayanti. Holy sesame and kunda, i.e. Ganesh's beloved jasmine flower, it is customary to offer scented sesame and jasmine flowers to God on Tilkunda Chauthi.

People fast on this day and organize worship in the evening. Worship asanas in the north-east corner of the house and worship by lighting a lamp in coconut oil, performing aarti and om gan ganeshwarai vighnanayakaya namah, ॐ गं गणेश्वराय विघ्ननायकाय नमः॥. It is customary to chant the mantra 108 times.

It is described in the scriptures that all those who regularly worship Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, will end their sorrows. Mangalmurti and the first worshiped Lord Shri Ganesha is also known as "Sankatharan". Fasting and worshiping Lord Ganesha on the day of Tilakunda Chauthi brings happiness, prosperity, opulence and inner peace. Not only this, there is always prosperity in business and happiness and prosperity at home.

It is said that today's worship has a special role to play in overcoming obstacles while relieving suffering. Best wishes.
