International day for the elimination of nuclear weapon, September 26th.

Global nuclear disarmament is the motto, one among the primary subject of the United Nation general assembly in 1946 and a major objective till today. This day advocates for the elimination of atomic weapons and all other major weapons adaptable to mass destruction.

Yet today almost 13400 nuclear disarmament says United Nations, United Nations has been at the forefront of the mission of nuclear disarmament, every united nation general secretary has always actively promoted this goal.

Former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has said that "the threat posed to any one country by nuclear weapons must be considered a threat to all nations." Many countries in the world now have nuclear powers that can shake the earth like a dry leaf and turn it into micro pieces. Nuclear weapons are considered as a major advancement of national security, many countries and governments are engrossed in demonstrating their power with these weapons and warning each other.

Most of the world's population is below the poverty line, children do not have access to nutritious food and even adequate clothing. The phenomenon is likely to be increased in the post-COVID world. However, more and more money and studies are being spent on developing nuclear weapons. At present, the world's major leaders are concerned about how to protect nuclear weapons. At any time, these weapons could fall into the hands of terrorist organizations active in different parts of the world, and if that happens, the world is bound to become even more insecure.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were hit by a nuclear attack on August 6, 1945, still have no trees or plants growing. From this one can guess how far the misuse of nuclear power can destroy humanity. How can such weapons, which are being prepared in many countries of the world, protect the world? The time has come to think.

Considering all this, the great scientist Albert Einstein said, "I don't know what happens if there is a third world war, but if there is a fourth world war, stone weapons are used." Can the world go back to the stone age?

Focusing on this sensitive and thought-provoking issue, the United Nations celebrates the International Day for the elimination of Nuclear Weapons on September 26. No war can be won with the help of nuclear weapons, its use will always be defeat. The elimination of nuclear weapons is essential for humanity.

The context of this year's International Day for the Elimination of Nuclear Weapon is very different from other years, the dominance of bombs and fighter jets in the world has been given a new dimension by the appearance of a small virus this year. The coronavirus has had a far greater impact this year than many atomic bombs. Along with nuclear, this day should also advocate for any kind of biological weapon this year and solidarity to fight against it.
